So today's post is not very exciting but tomorrows will be great! These are a bunch of old nails that date from about 1800-1940. Some are in very good condition but most are very bent. If you can tell me more about these than please do! I have many more but did not put them on here. If you want to see them then I can make another post with them on it.

Nylotis Face Powder Lid
This is the first thing I decided to post. This is a lid of an old face powder can. The company that created this can is called Nylotis and operated in the early 1900s. According from the research I did, it was made in 1920. If you can tell me anymore on this can it would be much appreciated! The first photo is the top of the lid. Sorry it is hard to make out but the piece did not clean up well. The image shows a peacock and the words Nylotis between the head and the tail. The second picture is the bottom of the lid, it isn't much but I thought I should post it anyway. Stay tuned for an amazing find tomorrow!
First Post!
Hello everyone! This is my first ever post on my new blog! I will be posting just about every day on here. I post images of relics that I have found in the ground and give a short description of them. I just started planting bushes in my moms yard for her and ended up finding tons of cool old stuff! The earliest I have found so far is about 1880 and the latest being 1950. I believe that my back yard was once a trash dump for a larger plot of farm land. I hope to post many interesting finds on here so stay tuned!
